The CGPSC Selection Roadmap
The State Service Examination is conducted in three distinct stages:
- Preliminary Examination: Objective/Screening Test.
- Main Examination: Conventional Written Test.

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (The Gateway)
The Prelims consist of two compulsory objective-type papers. This stage is strictly for screening; marks obtained here are not added to your final merit list.
